It’s funny how things change over time, he thinks. Connor used to spend hours and days browsing the web, intrigued by any conspiracy theory he came across. He praised the net for bringing out the truth every so often. People deserved it.

Now that he’s been part of a conspiracy, it’s different. The anomalies aren’t a secret anymore but somehow, that makes it even worse. Adrenaline junkies all over the world are trying to get their next kick by hunting anomalies and creatures on their own. The body count is high. Connor wishes they could control what’s on the web.
