Connor knew the anomaly project was his chance. He’d always been considered a geek, a nerd, a weirdo… Only few people looked behind the façade and his clumsy appearance. 

They didn’t see his bright and open mind, his friendly and caring personality and the dedication he brought to anything he worked on.

The anomaly project was his opportunity to show all that. It was his chance to prove he was capable. And maybe, just maybe, he could find some kind of family there. It was his chance to leave the shadows of his past behind and step into the light.

Danny had thought that his quest had come to an end after they’d realized that Ethan was Patrick. He’d found his long lost brother.

But then, everything went to hell and his brother turned out to be not what he’d expected. And now he’d tricked them and escaped. Danny had to accept that his beloved brother was a threat. 

He couldn’t have that. Patrick was his responsibility. He’d failed to protect him once, he couldn’t let it happen again. And he couldn’t risk Patrick messing with history and the people in it. Danny decided to step into the anomaly’s light.
