“The Red Lion, this is Mary speaking.”

“Hi Mary. I’d like to book a table for eight people on Friday night, if possible. My name is Lewis.”

“I can reserve that for you,” Jenny heard Mary leafing through a book. “Uhm, sorry Ms, we’ve already got another reservation for Lewis. Do you have first name to go with yours?”

“Sure, it’s Jenny Lewis.”

Silence.

“THE Jenny Lewis? Like THE Jenny Lewis from the ARC?”

“Yes, Mary. The table?”

“Oh. My. God. OH MY GOD! I’ll make sure our best table is available for you, Ms Lewis. It’s such an honour!”
