Claudia had experienced many weird things in her life. Her bosses often sent her to investigate rumours. Usually it was a lot of nonsense but they had to deal with it anyway. She never would have dreamed about some of the things she was confronted with in her job. 

Stories about imaginary alien experiments in government facilities were part of it, and now: dinosaurs and rips in space and time. Who would have thought the latter was the more realistic? What was just as unexpected was to meet the man of her life in the line of duty: Nick Cutter.
